About Ana Ramos

Fashion transcends mere trends, subjective opinions, and influencers on social media. I've curated my distinctive style, a fusion of versatility, sportiness, femininity, elegance, and a touch of the '90s. This unique blend has been shaped by my admiration for influential figures such as Marc Jacobs, John Galliano, Alexander McQueen, Bella Hadid, and Chloë Sevigny. My fashion sense demands a second look, prompting the intricate details that make it remarkable. By honing my ability to observe details, I've seamlessly integrated this skill into my design process. I aim to craft fundamental pieces where the subtle details in just one or two elements capturing attention, compelling a closer examination of the garment as a cohesive whole. By altering the silhouette, colors, or certain design details, my creations demand recognition from the eye, in pursuits to change the fashion community.

Fashion has always been more than just clothing to me—it’s a form of storytelling, a reflection of identity, and a powerful tool for cultural expression. As a designer, stylist, and creative entrepreneur, I see fashion as a way to merge imagination with function, trend with individuality, and artistry with business. My work is driven by a deep appreciation for detail, a curiosity for global perspectives, and a desire to create designs that not only resonate visually, but connect meaningfully with the people who wear them.

Currently, I’m completing my Bachelor of Science in Fashion Merchandising with an emphasis in Product Development and Design at the University of Georgia. My academic journey has been shaped by a balance of creative exploration and technical learning—equipping me with a strong understanding of garment construction, textile science, trend forecasting, and digital tools like Lectra Kaledo, Adobe Illustrator, and VStitcher. I’ve always sought out hands-on opportunities to grow, and my experience reflects that.

One of the most formative chapters of my journey was my summer internship with Champion at Hanesbrands Inc., where I contributed two original styles that were approved for production in the Spring/Summer 2026 collegiate collection. It was here that I truly experienced the full lifecycle of a design—taking ideas from trend research and moodboarding all the way to sample measurement, PLM entry, and presentation to the brand team. Seeing my silhouettes move from sketch to reality was an unforgettable moment, one that solidified my love for product development and collaborative creation.

I’ve also pursued leadership and creative direction in campus organizations such as Strike Magazine Athens, where I serve as the Fashion Design Director. In this role, I oversee garment design, styling, and concept execution for editorial spreads, leading a team of passionate creatives to build compelling visual stories. Additionally, I’ve worked as a stylist for the Student Merchandising Association and BOLD Modeling Agency’s runway shows, consistently sharpening my eye for composition, texture, and theme cohesion.

Entrepreneurship has always been a part of my creative identity. In 2023, I launched Con Cariño LLC, my own swimwear brand focused on handmade, thoughtfully designed pieces. From pattern drafting to photoshoot styling, e-commerce management, and branding, this venture has allowed me to merge my design background with marketing and business strategy—all while staying true to my personal aesthetic and voice.

What connects all these experiences is my passion for creating things that feel personal, intentional, and authentic. I believe the best fashion doesn’t just follow trends—it captures moments, emotions, and values. I’m inspired by the intersection of innovation and storytelling, and I’m constantly seeking new ways to bring these elements into my work.

This portfolio is a reflection of the experiences, concepts, and designs that have shaped me. It represents not just my skills, but my growth, my perspective, and my belief that fashion has the power to connect and transform. Thank you for taking the time to learn more about me—I’m excited to continue evolving, collaborating, and contributing to this ever-changing industry.
