At the University of Georgia, I have learned contemporary dress through anthropological concepts of culture and society limiting ethnocentric bias. I am able to apply dress as body modifications and body supplements varying from society to society, while understanding dress as an art form as well as consumer behavior.

Research
Representation and diversity are crucial in the fashion industry, affecting every person on the planet, whether they are actively engaged or not, and disability representation is no exception. One size does not fit all, and that phrase is being carried by fashion industry, but why is it different for the physically impaired? I intend to uncover modern and inventive designs of dress.

Product Development
For this project, my partner, Eleanor Cleveland, and I worked together to research, interview, and evaluate a new product on the market- the Jacket Pack. A jacket that converts into a purse that converts back into a jacket. In the PDF that I linked, we went through the entire product development stages.
